  My answer was no - or he could not be our Savior. The teacher's answer was - yes, he could have, but he chose to do the Father's will. It was stated that since Jesus had to experience the different things that we experience, he also had to have the opportunity to sin if he chose to do so.

• I am wondering what emphasis you place on the The Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs and 1 Enoch 48:6-7, which you quote from in the Discovering Jesus Course.
  
  You called them "extra-biblical", that might be seen as saying they were inspired by God. And should be seen as just as valid as the Bible.
